“Wrong about what?” Liam comes around the corner with his arms full of groceries. Milo and Miss Fluffywinks follow behind him like his furry entourage.

I spin around to look at him. “Nothing.”

I hope he didn’t hear us.

“Exactly,” Lilly teases.

I blush, and Liam smiles. Did he hear us?

Liam sets the bags on the counter, and Olivia starts to put the ice cream in the freezer.

“Uhhh . . . Liam? What’s this?” She holds up a carton of ice cream.

Liam’s eyes grow wide in horror, and he turns beet red.

Lilly reads the flavor to us. “‘Champagne flavored ice cream. Contains 25 mg of Viagra.’ Liam Matthew Kingston. What in the world?”

“I didn’t mean to buy that,” he blurts. “I was distracted.”

“By what?” Olivia cries, laughing hysterically.

“Some dude who wouldn’t stop trying to talk to me,” he says, still horrified.

“Where did you even go to get ice cream? Grocery stores cannot actually sell that,” Lilly says, giggling. “Wouldn’t you need some sort of prescription for that?”

“Apparently, they do,” Liam protests. “And apparently, you don’t.”

Sammy can barely contain her laughter. “Aww, you mean you still can’t get it up even though you’re around six beautiful women?”

Lilly covers her giggles with her hand. “Ew, two of those six are his sisters.”

Lindsay groans and buries her face in her hands. “Ew, no. Gross.”

“Hey. Don’t body shame him. He can’t help that his equipment doesn’t work right.” Noelle gives him a teasing smile as she leans against the counter by the sink.

He turns even redder and glances at me. “Trust me. My equipment works right.”

Sammy looks at me with a devilish glint in her honey-colored eyes. “You know, Viagra also impacts the female libido.”

“Gosh, Kris.” Olivia pats me on the shoulder and fights back laughter. “Looks like you’re in for a fun night.”

“Oh, Liam,” Lilly says, barely able to breathe and doubled over with laughter. “Here, go put these on. Everett picked them out.”

He looks in the bag and then back at Lilly. “Seriously? I’ll pass.” He hands the bag back.

“Nope. You have to show them.” She gestures toward all of us. “Please?” She has tears streaming down her face from laughing so hard. Her reaction has everyone curious.

“Come on, Liam,” Noelle says. “Be a good sport. Go put them on and let us see.”

He rolls his eyes and then huffs out a breath. “Fine.”

When he returns from the bathroom, he’s wearing black and white flannel pajama bottoms and a black T-shirt with a checklist on it that says, “Reasons Why I’m Single: Too Ugly, Too Picky, Dick is So Big it Might Kill Someone.” The last box is checked.

Everyone is quiet for a minute, and then Sammy turns to look at me. “I approve.”

The girls erupt into a fit of laughter. His eyes dart over to me. I bite my lip and look down at the margarita I’m holding, feeling my face heat up, probably turning about as red as his.
